  • Le Riche Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon NV

    RESERVE Cabernet Sauvignon

The flagship of Le Riche, this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is the expression of the best we can make.  Rigorous vineyard selection, micro vinification, extended skin contact after fermentation and sufficient new oak to compliment the fruit balance ensures the pedigree of this wine.  It is a wine where we spare no effort or cost to ensure a wine of quality and consistency. This is a wine made to age.

  • Le Riche Cabernet Sauvignon 2011 LR

    Cabernet Sauvignon

The backbone of the range, it is a wine that delivers all the qualities that a Le Riche Cab should.  Supple, elegant and rich with layers of fruit, this is our expression of Stellenbosch Cabernet Sauvignon.  With fruit from the cool gravelly slopes facing False Bay to the rich red granitic soils around Stellenbosch, the wine gains its complexity by blending fruit from diverse terroirs.  A wine that can be enjoyed younger or with several years of age.

  • Le Riche Richesse 2011 LR

    Richesse

The proverbial dark horse of the range, this wine is the only red we produce that is not 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.  Produced to display the traditional inter-varietal blending ability of Cabernet, this wine is made to express its fruit component.  As a new twist to the classic blend of Cabernet/Merlot/Cabernet franc/Petit Verdot/Malbec we have now added Cinsaut.  With no new oak influence and the traditional supple tannin structure of Le Riche, the wine will not disappoint.

  • Le Riche Chardonnay 2013

    Chardonnay

Relatively new to the range, this Chardonnay provides a bit of variety for those hot summer days.  It is a blend between tank and barrel fermented fruit.  Aged for 5 months in barrel and on lees for a further 6 months, it expresses the fruit component of the cultivar more than the oak.  Complemented by lemony freshness, backed by firm acidity and hints of oak, we regularly enjoy this wine with one of Etienne’s freshly caught fish.
